How I saved the day!

I'll tell you what, I have never felt so HEROIC before since this happened.

A few days before school got out, I was walking with buddy

in the school parking lot. Suddenly, I beak away 'cuz I thought I saw something odd on the ground.
"What the? A wallet!?"
Sure enough, someone had dropped their wallet! I took a quick trip to the front office to turn it in. They asked for my name and ID, so I wrote it down and left.
This is the awesome part.
The next day during my science final, the office rang me up to see the admin. office lady person... thing...
She handed me an envelope and said it was a letter from the mother of the guy who lost the wallet.
I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST GONNA BE A NICE THANK YOU CARD BUT NOOOOOOO WAY...

The letter starts out...

Kevin,
Your honesty is an amazing trait. You are a very nice young man & my son is grateful all his GRADUATION MONEY was still there. My son is ----------- & he is autistic. What a great lesson on being a good man you have shown him. Please accept this small gift as a huge thank you! I know your parents are proud of you!

I open the letter further and to my astonishment...
HOLY CRAP!!
$60 dollars were in the envelope!
No way! This is way too much! I... I... can't believe it...
I never even looked through the wallet, never had a second thought...
This is what I get? Model citizen? Me?
Wow...
I love helping people and all, but this takes the cake!

... and that's how I saved the day.

I've found dropped ID cards, and a couple important papers on the ground. When I give it to the office they never asked for my name. o_O Nor do the people know that I returned them.

Yup yup, I did the same thing but they never asked for me for my name and ID from my middle school. Well your a good Guy, why wouldn't you be? ;]
